Labanda Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 01/03/2026
By placing an order with Labanda Pty Ltd (“Labanda”), the customer agrees to and accepts these Terms and Conditions in full. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all products ordered are correct and suitable for their intended purpose prior to purchase.
1. Guarantees and Warranties
All products supplied by Labanda are covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty where provided.
Any product believed to be faulty must be reported to Labanda within 3 business days of invoice date.
Labanda reserves the right to inspect and assess all returned goods prior to determining whether a product is faulty.
Where a product is confirmed as faulty, Labanda may, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the product;
- Replace the product; or
- Provide a refund or credit.
Labanda reserves the right to reject warranty claims where faults arise from:
- misuse or incorrect installation,
- negligence or accidental damage,
- unauthorised modification or repair,
- lack of technical competence,
- normal wear and tear.
No warranty or guarantee applies where payment for goods remains outstanding.
2. Ownership and Risk
Ownership of goods remains with Labanda until full payment has been received.
Risk in goods transfers to the customer immediately upon dispatch from Labanda premises. Labanda accepts no liability for loss, delay, or damage occurring during transit.
3. Payments
Credit Card Payments: From 1 March 2026, Labanda accepts credit card payments only.
Account Holders: All accounts must be settled by the 30th of each month. Failure to do so will result in immediate suspension of trading terms and all future orders requiring prepayment.
4. Prices
All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices exclude GST unless otherwise stated. Shipping charges effective 1 March 2026:
- eParcel (500g): $21.00
- Express eParcel (500g): $19.00
- Overnight Express (Max 1kg): $25.00
- International Shipping: Quoted
- Pick Up: Free
- Free Shipping: Orders over $250 ex GST under 1kg (Australia only)
5. Returns and Refund Policy
No Change of Mind Returns
Labanda does not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect selection, or ordering errors made by the customer.
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring all ordered items are correct prior to purchase.
Incorrectly Ordered Items
Returns for incorrectly ordered goods are not guaranteed and may be accepted only at Labanda’s absolute discretion.
If Labanda agrees to accept such a return:
- Goods must be unused, unopened, and in original saleable condition;
- Original packaging must be intact;
- Items must show no signs of installation, handling marks, or damage.
Approved returns will incur a restocking fee of 20% of the original invoice value (excluding freight).
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Faulty Goods
All suspected faulty items must be returned to Labanda at the customer’s cost for inspection. Labanda will assess the item to determine whether a manufacturing fault exists.
If the product is confirmed faulty under warranty, Labanda will, at its discretion:
- repair,
- replace, or
- refund the item.
Return freight costs will not be reimbursed unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If the item is found not to be faulty, the customer will be responsible for all return freight costs.
Return Conditions
All authorised returns must:
- Be approved by Labanda prior to return;
- Be returned within 10 days of invoice date;
- Be securely packaged to prevent transit damage.
Goods damaged during return transit remain the responsibility of the customer.
Unauthorised returns may be refused and returned at the sender’s expense.
6. Shipping
Labanda reserves the right to determine shipping methods unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only. Labanda accepts no liability for shipping delays, loss, or consequential costs arising from delivery issues.
Labanda does not guarantee 100% overnight delivery, as shipping timeframes are dependent on StarTrack / Auspost and their freight processes, including delivery schedules and operational timeframes. While we always dispatch orders as quickly as possible, delivery speed ultimately relies on the carrier’s network and logistics operations
7. Repairs
All watch and clock repairs carry a 6-month service warranty covering parts replaced by Labanda only.
This warranty excludes unrelated component failure or external damage.
All goods in transit to or from Labanda remain at the customer’s risk.
8. Button Cell Batteries – Trade Supply and ACCC Compliance
Button cell batteries supplied by Labanda in trade packs of five (5) are supplied strictly for professional trade customers only.
These products are intended for purchase and use by qualified repairers, technicians, and commercial businesses operating within the watch, jewellery, electronics, or related trades. Button cell batteries supplied by Labanda are not intended for resale or supply to the general public.
By purchasing button cell batteries from Labanda, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- The goods are acquired solely for business or professional trade purposes;
- The customer assumes responsibility for the safe handling, storage, installation, and any subsequent supply of button cell batteries;
- Any onward supply must comply with all applicable Australian laws and safety requirements, including the ACCC Mandatory Button Battery Safety and Information Standards under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
The customer further acknowledges responsibility for ensuring compliance with, including but not limited to:
- secure packaging requirements,
- warning and safety information obligations,
- product accessibility restrictions to children,
- and all mandatory safety standards relating to button or coin batteries in Australia.
Labanda accepts no liability for non-compliance arising from the customer’s storage, use, resale, or distribution of button cell batteries after supply.
Labanda reserves the right to refuse supply where it reasonably believes products may be used or supplied contrary to Australian safety legislation.
